Canadian School of Tashkent. A new school year begins: preparing for an exciting start at CST.
News · August 2026 · Tashkent
We are delighted to welcome our students and families back to the Canadian School of Tashkent on Wednesday, 2 September as we begin the 2026–2027 academic year.
Throughout August, our international and local teaching teams arrive on campus to prepare classrooms, collaborate with colleagues, and take part in a comprehensive professional-learning programme. These sessions strengthen instructional practice, align teaching across grade levels, and ensure every student is welcomed into an engaging, supportive, and well-prepared learning environment from the moment they walk through our doors.
Our teachers also spend this time planning lessons, reviewing student needs, and readying their learning spaces. Across the school, every classroom, laboratory, library, and shared space is being prepared with one purpose in mind: creating the best possible experience for our students.
Helping your child start strong.
The move into a new school year is exciting, and a little preparation at home can make the first week more comfortable for children of all ages. Parents can help by:
- Re-establishing regular sleep routines a few days before school begins.
- Preparing school supplies and uniforms in advance.
- Talking positively about the new year and encouraging children to ask questions.
- Reviewing transport arrangements and morning routines.
- Taking time during the first week to listen to your child’s experiences and celebrate small successes.
The first few days often bring a mix of excitement and curiosity. A calm morning, encouraging words, and a familiar routine can make a meaningful difference.
Looking ahead.
Parent orientation will be held on 27–28 August at the CST campus — an excellent opportunity for parents across all grades to meet the teachers, learn about the school’s plans for the year, and order uniforms. Please check your inbox for full details of the programme.
Over the coming weeks we will continue sharing updates to help families prepare for the new academic year. Our goal is for every family to feel informed, supported, and connected before the first bell rings.
Have a question before school starts? Our Admissions and Student Services teams are here to help — Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:00, and by appointment on Saturdays. Write to us at admissions@canadianschool.uz.
We wish every family a restful remainder of the summer, and we look forward to welcoming both returning and new families to campus on 2 September for the start of another exceptional school year.
