Is there an application deadline?

Applications for 2026–2027 are accepted on a rolling basis until classes are full. The priority application deadline is 31 May 2026. Senior years (Grades 10 to 12) and high-demand grades fill earliest, so we strongly encourage early application. Mid-year admission is possible where seats remain available. Can my child join CST mid-year?

Yes, where seats remain available in the requested year group. Mid-year applications follow the same five-step process and are reviewed on receipt. Placement assessments and family interviews are scheduled within two to three weeks of a complete application. Mid-year entry to the Nova Scotia program (Grades 10–12) is reviewed individually, with attention to credit alignment and graduation timing.

Is there a waiting list policy?

When a year group is full, qualifying applicants who have completed the placement process are added to a prioritized waiting list. Priority is determined by application date, sibling status, and the placement review. If a seat becomes available, families are contacted in priority order. Waiting list standing is reset at the start of each academic year.

How quickly will I hear back after enquiring?

Our admissions office responds within one working day of every enquiry. After receiving an application, we typically schedule the placement assessment and family interview within two to three weeks. Offer decisions are issued within one week of the placement and interview. The full process, from first enquiry to enrollment confirmation, typically takes four to six weeks.

What documents do I need?

Document requirements vary by entry point. The full per-band checklist is provided in the Documents section of the Admissions page. In summary: every applicant submits an application form, identification, and photographs; from Grade 1 onwards we ask for school transcripts; from Middle School onwards we require a teacher reference and prior English assessment if available.

Are there discounts or scholarships?

Accepted Answer

CST offers three tuition discounts that may be combined up to a 15% cap. Sibling discounts: 5% off tuition per child for two siblings enrolled, 10% off per child for three or more. Referral discounts: 5% for referring three to four families to CST, 10% for five or more. Advance payment discount: 5% for paying full annual tuition as a lump sum at the start of the academic year. What is the withdrawal and refund policy?

The Admission Fee and Annual Registration Fee are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tuition is subject to the CST Withdrawal and Refund Policy, a copy of which is provided to every family at the time of enrollment. The policy sets out the refund schedule for tuition based on the timing of withdrawal during the academic year. We strongly recommend reviewing the policy before enrollment.

What language is the curriculum taught in?

English is the language of instruction across every subject from Kindergarten through Grade 12. Russian and Uzbek are taught as additional languages from the early years onwards. Children arriving without a strong English background are supported through our EFL program, most are working confidently in English within their first year. Is CST accredited or licensed?

Yes. CST is licensed by the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada, for Grades 10 to 12. Graduates earn a Nova Scotia High School Diploma, recognized by universities across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Asia. The school is also fully registered with, and authorized by, the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan.

What are class sizes?

Class sizes are kept deliberately small to support relationship-based teaching. Lower and Upper Primary classes are typically 16 to 20 students. Middle School and High School classes range from 18 to 22, with smaller subject-specific groupings in the Senior years.

Where are CST graduates accepted?

CST is preparing students for universities across the world. Our seniors apply to programmes in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and across Asia. Our university counselling team supports each student personally, from first university list to first acceptance letter. Counselling begins at Grade 10.

My child has a learning difference. Can CST support them?

CST's Student Wellbeing Counsellor and Safeguarding Lead, who holds a Master of Education in Special Educational Needs alongside Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Officer status, oversees individual student support across the school. Is transport provided to and from school?

Bus transport is available within Tashkent for an additional fee, with routes serving the main residential districts. Specific routes and pricing are confirmed at the time of enrollment based on family addresses. Many CST families also arrange private or shared transport directly.

What does a typical school day look like?

Accepted Answer

The school day runs from morning through to mid-afternoon, with the daily meal plan providing breakfast, two snacks, and lunch. Lower Primary follows a homeroom-based timetable with specialist sessions in Arts, Music, PE, and Languages. From Middle School onwards, students rotate through subject-specialist classrooms. After-school clubs and academic support are offered across the week. Detailed daily schedules are shared at orientation.

What happens between offer and first day?

Once enrollment is confirmed, families receive a welcome pack with detailed orientation information, uniform ordering details, the academic calendar, the meal plan registration, and contact details for the homeroom teacher. New student orientation is held in the final days of August, before the first day of the academic year on Wednesday 2 September 2026. The orientation includes a campus walkthrough, classroom visits, meeting the homeroom teacher, and a parents' information session.
