Canadian School of Tashkent. Teach where it
matters most.

Small school, real students, room to do your best teaching.

Why CST

A school worth
moving for.

Canadian standards. Lived, not adapted.

Our K–9 curriculum is internally designed by experienced curriculum leaders, our Grades 10–12 are licensed by the Province of Nova Scotia, and our Future-Ready sequence is among the most ambitious any K–12 school operates. You will be teaching a real curriculum to a real standard.

Small classes. Real relationships.

Class sizes capped at 20 students. Teachers know every student — academically, personally, professionally — and have the time to actually act on what they know. The relationships you build with your classes are why most CST teachers stay year after year.

A city that surprises you. A life worth choosing.

Tashkent is one of the most affordable, livable, and underrated cities in Central Asia — direct flights to Istanbul, Dubai, Frankfurt, and Seoul; outstanding food; and proximity to the mountains and ancient Silk Road cities. CST teachers consistently say the lifestyle exceeded their expectations.

Teaching Here

Real standards. Real support. Real impact.

A flat leadership structure.

Your ideas reach the people who can act on them, usually in the same week. Good teaching is noticed here and good ideas travel fast — you have real influence over your classroom, your curriculum, and the wider life of the school.

Work that is genuinely demanding.

Licensed by Nova Scotia and accountable to its standards. Building Future-Ready Studies, EFL pathways, and a graduate profile that few schools attempt. More interesting than a typical international post, and more honest about what it asks of you.

Colleagues who care whether you stay.

Comprehensive relocation, visa, and onboarding support. A meaningful induction, not a half-day orientation. Class sizes that let you do the work properly. And a faculty community that pays attention to you, not just your timetable.

We hire educators who want to be part of a community,
not simply teach inside one.

How to Apply

A short, straightforward process.

01

Submit your application

Email your CV, a covering letter naming the role, and the contact details of three professional referees to hr@canadianschool.uz. We acknowledge every application within 48 hours.

02

Initial conversation

A first interview by video call with the relevant department lead and a member of the leadership team. Expect a real conversation about teaching philosophy, classroom practice, and your professional trajectory — not a checklist.

03

Demonstration lesson

A live or recorded demonstration lesson with a CST class (or a brief, focused alternative for non-teaching roles). This is the heart of the process — we want to see how you teach, not just how you describe teaching.

04

Offer & relocation

Successful candidates receive a formal offer, contract, and a comprehensive relocation package covering visa, flights, accommodation support, and onboarding. Welcome to CST.
