Canadian School of Tashkent. Building bridges through education: CST welcomes Tashkent’s media and influencers.

The Canadian School of Tashkent recently opened its doors to a diverse group of the city’s media professionals and influencers for an evening of conversation, discovery, and connection.
The visit offered guests a closer look at what is taking shape at CST — its classrooms and technology, and the teachers and people behind the school’s growing vision.

One of the evening’s most important conversations centred on CST’s Nova Scotia Department of Education licence for Grades 10 to 12. The licence allows CST’s high-school students to pursue the Nova Scotia High School Diploma, bringing a Canadian secondary-school pathway to students in Tashkent.
Guests also experienced CST’s VR classrooms, science and robotics labs, and explored how technology is woven into everyday learning, meeting members of the national and international teaching team along the way. These encounters offered a glimpse of an approach to education that is increasingly global, connected, and shaped by technology.

Yet the most important part of the evening was perhaps the people. Teachers shared their experiences. Guests asked questions. Conversations moved from classrooms to curriculum, from technology to the future of young people in Uzbekistan. It was a chance to see not only what CST offers, but why the school believes education has to keep moving forward.
CST is being built around a simple ambition: to raise the standard for quality education in Uzbekistan. That means bringing together Canadian education, international teaching experience, local talent, and new technologies, while creating an environment where students are encouraged to think beyond the classroom.

The evening was also a moment to recognise Tashkent’s media and influencer community, whose work plays an important role in helping families discover new ideas, ask better questions, and make informed choices about their children’s education. CST is proud to be part of that conversation.
As the school continues to grow, so does its ambition: to become a pioneer in quality education in Uzbekistan, and a bridge between the educational communities of Canada and Central Asia.
The reception closed with the school’s leadership team expressing its appreciation to the media professionals and influencers who continue to raise awareness around education and help families discover new possibilities for their children.
