Canadian School of Tashkent Students Take Center Stage at NYC MUN Conference!

A delegation of bright and engaged students from the Canadian School of Tashkent (CST) recently returned from the prestigious Model United Nations (MUN) conference held in New York City this March (2024). These young diplomats impressed with their insightful discussions and persuasive arguments on pressing global issues.

The CST MUN club, known for its dedication to global citizenship, prepared extensively for the conference. Students researched assigned countries and tackled complex topics, honing their critical thinking, public speaking, and negotiation skills.

The conference itself was a whirlwind of activity, with students representing their assigned countries in various committees. They debated solutions to real-world challenges, collaborating with peers from around the world to find common ground.

The experience at the NYC MUN conference proved invaluable for the CST students. Not only did they gain a deeper understanding of international relations, but they also developed valuable communication and leadership skills.

These future leaders are sure to make a positive impact on the world stage!
