World-Class Canadian Education — Tailored to Every Stage of Growth

At CST, we recognize that learning is a journey — one that must evolve thoughtfully as students grow, mature, and develop new capacities. That’s why our academic programme is carefully structured by developmental stage, following the internationally recognized Nova Scotia Public School Program (NS PSP) from Canada.

Early Years (Ages 2–5): Foundations of Curiosity

The Early Years programme at CST nurtures the youngest learners through a play-based, inquiry led model that emphasizes exploration, emotional security, and joyful discovery.

Children engage in hands-on activities that foster early literacy and numeracy, motor skills, creativity, and social development. Our caring educators focus on building confidence, communication, and a positive attitude toward learning — laying the essential foundation for lifelong academic success.

Primary School (Grades 1–6): Learning Through Inquiry

In the primary years, students begin to deepen their understanding of the world around them through core subjects and hands-on learning. The CST curriculum encourages exploration and critical thinking, blending foundational academic skills with creativity and collaboration.

Subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies are taught by homeroom teachers, while specialist instructors lead instruction in French, Music, Physical Education, Art, and Technology. Students learn not only to answer questions — but to ask them.

Middle School (Grades 7–9): Expanding Horizons

The middle school years mark a critical stage in a student’s personal and academic development. At CST, Grades 7–9 are designed to foster independence, intellectual curiosity, and greater responsibility.

Students begin to explore more advanced subjects, develop academic discipline, and are introduced to electives that include public speaking, media studies, robotics, and 3D design. Our goal is to support each student as they transition from dependent learners to confident, self directed thinkers.

High School (Grades 10–12): Readiness for the World

At the high school level, CST students complete their secondary education through a wide range of Nova Scotia credit-bearing courses, building a transcript recognized globally for academic integrity and depth.

Students choose from required and elective subjects that align with their interests and post secondary goals. Our university and career guidance team works closely with students from Grade 9 onward, helping them build portfolios, write personal statements, and prepare for global university admissions.

Graduates of CST receive the Nova Scotia High School Diploma, which enables direct admission to leading universities in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, Asia, and beyond.
