LONDON, June 16. /"Dunyo" News Agency/. A team of students from the Canadian School in Tashkent participated in the International Greenwich Olympiad, held in London from June 8 to 15 this year, reports a "Dunyo" News Agency correspondent.
The International Greenwich Olympiad is one of the major school olympiads, established and organized by North London Grammar School.
The purpose of the olympiad is to stimulate students' curiosity and creativity, as well as to foster an interest in science and technology.
This competition provides an excellent platform for talented youth and students to develop and utilize practical skills and to promote new innovative ideas.
The olympiad features projects in the fields of engineering, IT, energy, environment, social sciences, arts and culture, as well as robotics.
This year, 144 young students from more than 20 countries participated in the olympiad.
Talented students from Uzbekistan won one silver medal, three bronze medals, and one honorary award at the International Greenwich Olympiad.
