Our admissions process has four simple steps:

1. Initial Inquiry & Campus Visit

Contact our Admissions Office to schedule a meeting or tour. We encourage families to visit our campus, meet our staff, and experience the CST culture firsthand.

2. Application Submission

Complete the application form and submit the required documents, including academic records, passport/ID, and health information.

3. Assessment & Intervew

Students undergo an age-appropriate academic assessment (literacy, numeracy, or English proficiency) and may be invited for a brief interview. This helps us understand your child’s strengths and learning profile.

4. Offer & Enrollment

Successful applicants receive an offer letter. Upon confirmation, families finalize enrollment and receive orientation details to begin their CST journey.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

To promote academic merit and social inclusion, CST provides limited scholarships and financial assistance packages to outstanding or deserving students. These awards may be based on:

Financial need, evaluated confidentially by the CST Executive Committee
Community involvement or unique contributions to the CST culture

We nurture young minds! The Canadian School of Tashkent provides a stimulating learning environment for children from 3 to 16 years old.

Does the school offer meals and snacks to students?

Yes, our students can enjoy healthy, delicious meals and snacks prepared by our experienced cafeteria staff. We offer breakfast, lunch and two-time snacks each day. Our cafeteria offers daily vegetarian dishes, a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, and fewer sugary snacks and drinks - all prepared according to the Canadian nutrition standards developed for schools. 100% of the cafeteria fees is directed towards ensuring healthy meals and snacks for the students.

Who are the teachers at the Canadian School of Tashkent?

The Canadian School of Tashkent (CST) features a diverse and highly qualified team of educators. Our certified teachers provide expert instruction across all subjects, enhanced by an international staff that brings a global perspective to the classroom. Specialized teachers offer in-depth knowledge in key areas such as mathematics, science, languages, and the arts. Does the school offer any after-school activities or clubs?

Yes, we offer several after-school programs and clubs free of cost to our interested students. These activities are held from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday. From sports to skills learning and club activities, we design activities according to students’ interests and parents’ requests.

What other languages are available?

In addition to the English language, our curriculum includes Uzbek and Russian languages. Additional foreign language classes such as Arabic and French may be taught free of cost as per students' interests.

Are there any tuition fee discounts available?

Yes, we provide several discount opportunities for the students. These include family and friends discounts, financial assistance, corporate discounts, and lump sum payment discount among others. What is the maximum number of students in each class?

Does the school accept children who do not speak English?

Yes absolutely! For many of our students this will be their first time studying in an English school. We have native English speaking teachers that are supported by Teachers Assistant who speaks English, Uzbek and Russian to support learning. Additionally, we have English support classes for students that require more dedicated lessons.

What are the school hours?

Our school operates Monday to Friday. On Monday our school hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. From Tuesday to Friday our school hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM for after school activities.

What safety and security measures are in place at the school?

Ensuring the safety and security of the CST community is our most important priority. In addition to meeting the Ministry of Education’s safety standards, we employ professional security guards, advanced surveillance technology, fire protection system, health clinic, and a robust safety-first approach as part of our Safety and Security Policy and Procedures.
